![]() A comparison I would make here is the +15 food from vanguard economist as is, is basically the same as that vanguard doctrine, except it's more flexible as it can be used on other resources than food. Perhaps consider baseline making all buildings a little faster to build to compensate so we don't feel as if we have to have this doctrine to make decent progress?Įconomist -> +10 resource of the central core type, down from +15. ![]() (yes i'm aware they stack, no that's not the point I'm trying to make). It doesn't feel good that this super easy to complete empire task gives you a doctrine that otherwise would come much later to one specific race. In contrast, the Dvar ractial -20% comes at a higher tech level. Infrastructure is a nasty roadblock and -20% is a no brainer huge welcome. I feel like these 2 doctrines just crowd out everything else early on and are a crutch that lets you get away with rarely researching racial doctrines, at least early in the game.īuilder -> -10% building time, instead of -20%.
